Bloomcast,a communication consultancy, produced the podcast “Por ti”, an initiative by Zurich Portugal focused on the mental well-being of young people. Available on the main streaming platforms, such as Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube, the podcast aims to increase the visibility and impact of the “Por ti – Programme for the Promotion of Mental Well-being in Schools”, reaching thousands of young people, teachers and families in Portugal.
Hosted by the well-known radio presenter Joana Cruz, the podcast “Por ti” consists of sixe pisodes that explore essential topics related to the mental well-being of young people. Each episode offers different perspectives, including those of young people, teachers, psychologists and specialists, allowing for a comprehensive and inclusive understanding of the challenges young people face throughout their development.

This project demonstrates how new communication formats, such as podcasts, can effectively reach different audiences and provide a richer informative experience. Each episode of the podcast “Por ti” was recorded in different spaces at the headquarters of Zurich Portugal, in Lisbon, creating an authentic and diverse environment that reflects the richness of discussions around mental well-being.In addition to being available on the main streaming platforms, the podcast can also be found in video format on the Zurich Portugal website and on YouTube, further expanding its reach and impact with audiences.
The “Por ti – Programme for the Promotion of Mental Well-being in Schools” has been a milestone among initiatives aimed at the mental well-being of young people in Portugal. Between September 2022 and March 2024, the programme positively impacted more than 40,000 young people, 3,500 teachers and teaching assistants, and 1,200 families across more than 60 municipalities. This success was made possible thanks to the close collaboration between the Z Zurich Foundation, which funded the project, Zurich Portugal and EPIS – Empresários Pela Inclusão Social, in partnership with the Cognitive-Behavioural Clinical Psychology Unit (UPC³) of the University of Coimbra.
