EMJOGO: The startup that is revolutionising sports clubs
EMJOGO is a digital platform created by and for sports clubs with the aim of improving their organisation and communication. It is an integrated management software that helps clubs become more efficient and effective in their day-to-day operations. Founded in 2015 by Gil Guilherme, EMJOGO offers a comprehensive technological solution that enables sports clubs to foster closer monitoring by staff of their athletes and members, simplifying the registration, reading and interpretation of all the information that a club encompasses within a single platform. In order to respond to the challenges of an increasingly competitive market, the startup currently has 12 employees, who ensure an appropriate response to the challenges and needs of sports clubs. With regard to sports clubs, EMJOGO is currently present in more than 350 clubs and is essentially focused on the Portuguese market, with youth teams in team sports as its target, regardless of their size or notoriety. Although football represents a large percentage of its clients, the company also works with several other sports, such as Futsal, Handball, Basketball, Rugby, Volleyball and Roller Hockey. EMJOGO has been a Bloomcast client since 2022 and has been strengthening its presence in the Portuguese market, communicating in a consistent and coherent manner through impactful key messages.

To raise awareness of EMJOGO as a Portuguese startup that is revolutionising the way sports clubs manage their operations, as well as to position its spokespeople as Opinion Leaders in the Portuguese IT market associated with sport. Within this context, the proposed challenge lay in the need to consolidate EMJOGO’s visibility in the media space, particularly in both specialised and generalist media outlets, while ensuring a more regular communication rhythm. To communicate Gil Guilherme’s journey, the reasons that led him to develop this solution, the platform’s unique features and the main advantages of the technology applied to sport.

In this sense, the communication plan presented by Bloomcast for this project included two fundamental pillars (the presentation of the startup and its founder & CEO, that is, the entire corporate dimension, as well as the technological know-how applied to the sports sector), which made it possible to reach a wide range of media outlets and thereby expand EMJOGO’s presence in the national media.
